D-ribose-5-phosphate supports the biosynthesis of the amino acids tryptophan and histidine, and is a component in the pentose phosphate pathway. D-ribose is present in all living cells and their microenvironments and is a key component of numerous biomolecules involved in many important metabolic pathways. It also participates in the glycation of proteins producing advanced glycation end products AGEs that lead to cell dysfunction and death. Ribosylation, has been shown to cause protein aggregation in vitro and in vivo. Has demonstrated significant enhancing abilities in replenishing deficient cellular energy levels following myocardial ischemia, improving depressed function in numerous animal investigations and showing cellular protection during oxidative stress.
AdipoGen Sodium salicylate
Chemical. CAS 54-21-7. Formula C7H5O3 . Na. MW BD9837. Sodium salicylate is a metabolite of aspirin. It is a cell-permeable, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent NSAID that interferes with TNF-induced NF-kappaB activation by inhibiting phosphorylation and subsequent degradation of the IkappaB-alpha protein. It selectively inhibits TNF-induced activation of p42 ERK2 and p44 ERK1 MAP kinases and TNF-induced activation of JNK. It induces apoptosis via p38 kinase activation and inhibits COX-2 and inducible NOS iNOS transcription dependent on the experimental setup. It is commonly used for its antipyretic, anti-oxidant, neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and analgesic properties.

Interleukin-33 IL-33 HF-NEV IL-1F11, a member of the IL-1 family of cytokines, is expressed by many cell types following pro-inflammatory stimulation and is thought to be released upon cell lysis. IL-33 binds to and signals through ST2 IL-1R1 and its stimulation recruits MYD88, IRAK, IRAK4 and TRAF6, followed by phosphorylation of ERK1 MAPK3 / ERK2 MAPK1, p38 MAPK14 and JNK. The ability of IL-33 to target numerous immune cell types, like Th2-like cells, mast cells and B1 cells, and to induce cytokine and chemokine production underlines its potential in influencing the outcome of a wide range of diseases, such as arthritis.

AdipoGen Anthralin
Chemical. CAS 1143-38-0. Formula C14H10O3. MW 226.2. Synthetic. Anthralin is a leukotriene biosynthesis inhibitor. It inhibits LTB4 omega-oxidation and disrupts mitochondria function. Anthralin is used in the treatment of psoriasis, as a fungicide, in the treatment of ringworm infections and in chronic dermatoses. It accumulates in mitochondria where it interferes with the supply of energy to the cell, probably by the oxidation of dithranol releasing free radicals. This impedes DNA replication and so slows the excessive cell division that occurs in psoriatic plaques. Numerous studies have demonstrated anti-proliferative and anti-inflammatory effects of anthralin on psoriatic and normal skin. It is also used as matrix substance for MALDI-MS matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization MS.
